IHG Hotels & Resorts joins forces with trusted partners of CVS Health and PCMA


IHG Hotels & Resorts has further strengthened its Meet with Confidence program by partnering with CVS Health and PCMA. Ready for CVS Health’s comebackMT is now a recommended supplier for COVID-19 rapid on-site testing. IHG also signed a new education sponsorship agreement with PCMA for the development of a first digital event strategy introductory certificate course for hotels and venues. IHG continues to invest in the Groups & Meetings segment, paving the way for hybrid and in-person gatherings.

An August survey by PCMA, the world’s largest and most respected network of corporate event strategists, found that 54% of planners surveyed are turning to designing digital event experiences. In its September poll, nearly half of planners polled said they were planning a digital / online-only event for Q4 2021, and for Q1 through Q2 2022, a third were planning a digital event. / online only and 47% expected a hybrid event.
