New luxury ‘destination’ spa opens at Cheshire country hotel

A new luxury spa is set to open this year at a country hotel in Cheshire. The Manor House Hotel in Alsager will open its new offer from Easter.

The first phase of the spa, billed as a new “destination” in the county, will launch on April 14. It will feature a 15-meter “serenity pool” with surrounding walkway, glass ceiling, sofas and an “Instagram-worthy” hanging daybed.

By the pool there will be a new Finnish sauna and steam room, while three new treatment rooms have been built in the original farmhouse. These include a relaxation lounge for post-treatments.

Announcing the first phase of the spa’s opening, Jessica Mellors, Managing Director, said: “The development of our beautiful new spa is part of our mission to become a premier leisure destination and bring a new spa experience. exciting in the region. The new spa complements our successful Hotel & AA Rosette restaurant offering and will enable us to offer our guests a broader wellness experience.”

The new spa will also feature an “English-style spa garden,” construction of which is expected to be completed in the fall. When completed, it will offer users views of the Cheshire countryside.

The hotel is based in what was a 17th century farmhouse and is located on the southern outskirts of Alsager, off Audley Road. It has 52 bedrooms, conference and banqueting facilities, and the AA rosette-awarded The Stables Bar & Grill.
