SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA / SINGAPORE – Sshopping mall Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) announce a strategic brand partnership with La Vie Hotels and Resorts (La Vie) to provide bespoke hotel management services to independent luxury hotels in the Asia-Pacific region. Through this partnership, SLH will complement La Vie’s bespoke management solutions for independent upscale and luxury boutique hotels with global distribution, sales and marketing support, and qualified hotels will be recognized and affiliates as members of SLH’s exclusive portfolio of brands.

La Vie is an independent hotel management company based in Australia and operating throughout Asia-Pacific. Their owner-focused approach to operations results in a cohesive and strategic response, especially for smaller boutique hotels. The combination of La Vie Hotel and Resorts’ innovative and diverse operational services with SLH’s global sales, marketing and distribution network creates an end-to-end solution for independent hotels to become competitive in the global travel market.

With the resumption of global travel, the growth of independent hotels is on the rise, with travelers seeking smaller hotels that offer privacy and personalization; as well as rich and meaningful local experiences to reconnect with the environment, culture and people. SLH has always championed small hotels that focus on bespoke luxury, individuality, independence and authentic experiences. SLH hotels are uniquely luxurious with their sense of place, their genuine and sincere staff and their style that is warm and welcoming, but never stuffy. The properties feel like a home away from home, and together they form a supportive community for independent hotels.

The first luxury hotel to join the SLH brand will be the award-winning Islington Hotel Hobart in Tasmania, Australia, which celebrates its 175th anniversary this year. La Vie acquired this historic 11-room hotel earlier this year and will restore it to its “majestic” charm of yesteryear. Other collaborative projects in the Asia-Pacific pipeline, including an exciting new build in Sydney’s stylish Surry Hills, due to open in December, will be announced shortly.
