Springfield Senior Center Update |

Have you heard people talk about energy medicine and wondered what it is? Come to the Springfield Senior Center on Wednesday, October 5 at 1 p.m. and meet Susan Langley, retired physical therapist and clinical practitioner of Eden Energy Medicine. Many of you may have met Susan over the years when she was at the Springfield Hospital. She has been practicing complementary techniques as well as traditional methods for more than 35 years in hospital and outpatient settings.

Susan will explain how an assessment by a qualified energy medicine practitioner can help develop an individualized plan to address any physical or emotional issues that may be contributing to less than optimal health. Eden Energy Medicine teaches specific techniques that can be used to activate the body’s natural healing abilities. It can help restore vital energies that have become weak, disturbed or out of balance.

Susan will bring her “table” so you can actually see her working with a patient as people always wonder how it goes. She will also teach you some techniques that you can apply yourself to combat stress, constipation, headaches, etc.

Susan is a practitioner at the Holistic Wellness Center, 160 Wall Street.

This program is hosted by the Springfield Senior Center as a community event and open to everyone of all ages from Springfield and the surrounding area.

Join us October 5 at 1 p.m. at the Senior Center, 139 Main Street. Light refreshments will be served after the program.
